Solid wood

Plywood

Particle board

OSB board

OSB board is actually a kind of particle board. It uses pine wood as raw material, planes long strips, and is a new type of high-strength load-bearing after drying, screening, deoiling, sizing, directional paving and hot pressing. The wood plank, due to the inconsistent orientation of the wood shavings on the surface and inside during the hot pressing process, enhances its strength and nail-holding ability.  Compared with ordinary particleboard, the strength and nail-holding ability of OSB board are more prominent.

Therefore, if you want to choose the most environmentally friendly wood, the first choice is solid wood. It is not only fire and moisture resistant, but also has no chemical ingredients. However, the price of solid wood is the most expensive compared to other plates. Particleboard is the most cost-effective type of board. There are many finishing treatments on the board surface, such as baking paint, melamine paper, acrylic and other finishes.
